Spring Into Summer Parade
 Come and
join us as we ‘Spring Into Summer’ on Saturday, May 24,
2008. Don’t come to the Parade hungry. Fill yourselves up
at the Annual All Aboard Pancake Breakfast from 7:30-10:30am at the Caboose
on Main Street.
The ‘Spring Into Summer’ annual parade will kick
off at 10:30 am on Main Street. Hopefully, depending on it's availability,
the Chamber of Commerce’s
adopted troops from Ft. Carson the 10th CSH Unit will be there
for the parade. The parade will also include the Custer County Marching
Band, antique horse-drawn carriages, unique floats of businesses and
organizations, and animals of all kinds. If you would like to enter

A Memorial
On Monday, Memorial Day, there will be a short ceremony to
recognize the nations armed services personnel who gave their lives
protecting our country and its values. The ceremony will be at the
Westcliffe Memorial Park at 10:00am. The ceremony will also highlight a
Guest Speaker, Color Guard, playing of Taps and a Rifle Salute. Everyone is
encouraged to come and join in the Memorial ceremony.
